We have grow a lot in the last year, and had many changes! Our rabbit barn has doubled, and the rabbits probably tripled. ;) We have even dabbled in Netherland dwarfs and Tans!
We have had a couple litters of each and tried to be very selective on what we move forward with. Right now we have upside down trios of each. But already know which buck we will be moving forward with. We have a pair of black himi netherland dwarfs, and a Black and Chocolate pair of tans. We feel blessed to have aquired a nice ND buck from Star struck rabbitry, we named him BatBunny ( since I am told he can not be called Batman- since he is not at man at all. ) And a nice chocolate Tan from Golden Hills in California. We are working with an Abbeyroads ND doe who has given us two litters from Crain Acres Jon snow. We have had 3 litters of Tans out of our first doe a lilac that had a lot of room for growth. ;) We have kept Nightwing a black tan buck to move forward with. My oldest has taken them on as a new project while my young boys enjoy their ND's.

I have been busy trying to improve type on my himlayans, trying to get my color and fur onto some longer bodies. I find taking lots of photos helps me stick to the facts and not choose by emotional attachment. I really fell hard for this doe JHUC2, but you can see why we had to let her go. It was tough.
We just got home from our first show of the year, the first show where all of my kids were entered! Batbunny made his show debut, and my oldest had a great time taking his Tan to compete against 6 others, that is a big number for our area! Our daughter was BOB all four shows (1/4) it may be awhile before she comes out of the clouds. <3 Batbunny had great comments but we need to find away to get more calories in him, he is still a little thin even though he always has a bowl full.
I chose my favorite pair of young seniors to show and they did not so well. I wish I would have pulled out everyone and seen who's star was shining. I left some beautiful animals at home, because I didn't really give them a look. ;P Very annoyed with myself. And to add to it I picked up my very favorite to take her to show C and she had caught her nail in the divider and I degloved one of her nails! So she wasn't even shown but the first two classes. My oldest picked his personal favorite, again leaving some LOVELY animals at home, and his chose was DQ'd for smut in all four showing.... Live and learn, or at least I hope we learn! ;) <3
